Electricity in the air
We are off to a great start here in Sunyani, Ghana. When we arrived yesterday afternoon we could already feel the electricity in the air. Everywhere we went, we were welcomed by enthusiastic crowds, the media, the local authorities and even the traditional king. We were told again and again that nothing like this had ever happened in Sunyani before.
Tonight, after I had finished preaching, my interpreter told me that he had never seen a crowd like this in his life – and this is only the first night!
After I preached the Gospel and prayed for the sick, many wonderful miracles happened including the healing of a man who could not stand up straight or walk without a four wheeled walker. Another man who was using crutches danced on the platform! Paralytics were completely healed, and others testified that chronic pain vanished.
This morning Rev. Peter Vandenberg and I preached to the pastors and church leaders from the region who are hungry for revival to break out in this land. They told us that they have never seen revival in Sunyani, but they are believing that this week is the beginning of an ongoing move of God.
Please pray for us, and for the precious Body of Christ here in Sunyani.
