Gospel Campaigns in Chuko and Yirgalem
Week three of CfaN’s Ethiopia campaigns saw simultaneous campaigns in the towns of Chuko and Yirgalem. These campaigns were organized and run by Bootcamp graduates.
Day 4 – Ethiopia
Chuko and Yirgalem on the final evening
Chuko, Ethiopia
It was God’s time for the people of Chuko in October! Bootcamp graduates David Rotärmel and Dario Guistino were stationed in Chuko.
It was astounding to me that these people stayed on a muddy, rainy, dark crusade field until late at night. They did not want to leave! A sense of family started to arise as a couple of dozen people on stage used their phones to celebrate each testimony and praised Jesus.
Since the beginning, we have had a feeling of being in a spiritual war here. As I broke the local curses over Chuko in Jesus' Name, we felt a breakthrough in the Spirit. People started to get healed and testified about what Jesus had done for them.

Beture could not lift his left arm for over a year.
It was beautiful to see his classmates cheering him on, testifying to what Jesus had done for him. As we were testing his arm, he took a heavy bag full of technical gear and surprisingly threw it into the air, catching it again! Then he started to run circles on stage, lifting the backpack, which was about half his body size! The people were cheering and celebrating the Lord!
Yirgalem, Ethiopia
In the town of Yirgalem, Bootcamp graduates John Whitley and Zack Frapart preached the Gospel. Evangelist David Rotärmel joined them there to preach on the final night.
No one came up to testify after praying for healing at first. So Evangelists Zack and John went into the crowd and started laying hands, and people began to be healed. After that we brought them on stage and they testified of their healing.
Yirgalem, Ethiopia
Many miraculous healings broke out as well as we received testimonies of many kinds of pains and infirmities from the head to the feet which vanished away.
A holy joy overshadowed us we finished the testimony time, and moved to a time of very vibrant praise and dancing.
We ended the night with about 10 to 15 minutes of joyful worship to the Lord. There were children and people playing in the mud jumping in the mud with joy. They did not care about getting muddy. They just wanted to jump with excitement and laughter and praise for what Jesus had done that night.
