This Gospel Campaign in the very heart of Aba City was a success. We started the first night with 3,000 people in attendance and saw over 50% of the Crowd getting saved! The campaign quickly became a hot topic in its area. We saw God move every single night, powerfully convicting people's hearts of their sins. Mighty miracles, signs, and wonders underlined the Gospel message every night. A young man named Innocent told us he had suffered for five years with terrible asthma and severe heart problems. He said he prayed to God and believed in his heart that God would heal him and he received his miracle! Another man called Madagar had a dislocated knee for months. As we prayed for the sick, his knee snapped back instantly, like a magnet back in its place. We ran circles on stage together!
Sunday, the final night, was extraordinary. Heavy rain poured just like it did many years before when Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke was in Aba. It became so intense that I got worried that the crowd would leave. But the people did not move a single inch! The rain stopped, and you could hear a pin drop by the end of the preaching. The final altar call was a call to authentic repentance, and the crowd responded, with hundreds running forward.
In the weeks after the campaign, we heard numerous reports from local churches, telling us that their churches had grown as never before, and the new converts were being faithfully discipled.
